Composition and form of release

The main active ingredient is Clindamycin, wheat starch, lactose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, azorubin, indigo, titanium dioxide, food gelatin are used as auxiliary substances.

Indications

An antibiotic belonging to the group of lincosamides that demonstrate a wide spectrum of action. Clindamycin (Cleocin) inhibits protein synthesis in the microbial cell and interacts with the 50S subunits of prokaryotic ribosomes. The drug disrupts the synthesis of proteins in microorganisms at the level of ribosomes and, combining with the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibits the process of traslacation.

The drug shows high activity against Gram-positive opportunistic and pathogenic microflora, including anaerobic microflora and clostridia.

It is used in the treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases that are caused by a pathogen sensitive to Clindamycin. The drug has proven its effectiveness in the treatment of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media, sinusitis, infectious lesions of the urinary system, arthritis, osteomyelitis, chlamydia, toxoplasmosis and gynecological diseases.

The drug is intended for the treatment of severe infections for patients with allergic reactions to penicillin. As well as in cases where other drugs of antimicrobial action are powerless or contraindicated to the patient.

Contraindications

It is not prescribed for renal insufficiency and individual intolerance to Clindamycin.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Method of administration and dosage
