Ceftin this is an antibiotic - cephalosporin of the second generation. It has a bactericidal effect, which is realized by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Method of administration and dosage
Ceftin (Cefuroxime) is used for intramuscular or intravenous administration. Newborns should receive the drug at a dose of 30 to 60 mg/kg of body weight every 6 or 8 hours, children under one year-30 or 100 mg/kg of body weight every 6 or 8 hours, adults-750 to 1.5 g every 8 hours.
